It has been sixth months since the defeat of the Separatists by Republic Forces. Not only did the Republic prevail against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, but also against the treachery of the Jedi who were secretly in league with Count Dooku of the Serenno System of the Outer Rim.
Then Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, was kidnapped by General Grevious. In his rescue their ship crash landed in one of the districts of Coruscant. During this time it is believed that some Separatists may have slipped in. Even more troubling, a year ago before the end of the war, former Padawan Ahsoka Tano was accused of being a Seprartist loyalist. Although acquitted of the bombing at the Jedi Temple, she was stripped of her affiliation and has since disappeared.
Now Emperor Palpatine is recovering from his assassination attempt from the disgraced Jedi Masters, Windu and Yoda. For the past months, he has been a beacon for the Republic making ever effort to stabilize and re-unite the fracture Galactic Republic. Within the Senate talks are underway to deal with the reconstruction and re-integration of the many systems of who joined the C.I.S.
As to me expected in post-war time Galactic Republic, their is a high level of tension and hope in rebuilding. There is still resentment on both sides, and millions of being caught in the middle of this Galactic Struggle. On Coruscant itself a massive Salvage operation is underway, not only to reclaim and identify contraband and stolen goods, but to root out any former affiliated individuals of the Jedi Order who may have escaped into the lower sectors.
