Famous Spellcasters: Andrew Wells

Name: Andrew Wells
World: Earth/Buffy the Vampire Slayer Universe
Spells: Per Circumstance.
Magical Items: None.

"How could he do this to me? He promised we'd be together but he was just using me. He never really loved...hanging out with us."
-Andrew Wells, Super-Villian, DM, and Watcher.

Andrew Wells was born in Sunnydale, CA and lived with his older brother and Aunt. Like his brother, Tucker, he was very intelligent and gifted. However, he lacked a certain charm, that made him awkward and a target for bulling. He has a soft and gentle heart, and spent many of his years growing up pouring over old grimoires and surrounded by his interest and fantasy and science fiction. Due to the fact that the Hellmouth allowed the supernatural to come forth, he and his brother developed a natural skill for demonic conjuration and summoning. His older brother Tucker was very skilled summoner and admired his brother greatly.

After his brother left, he was alone. He soon developed a closer friendship with Warren and Jonathan, fellow outcasts of Sunnydale Highschool. He fell sway under the charms of Warren and Jonathan and joined there group known as "The Trio". Together they harassed Buffy, the Slayer for perceived wrongs. Warren who tried to posses the Slayer by building a replicant was the only one who was really wronged. Jonathan was an occultist who knew some spellwork, whom Andrew felt a kinship with.... while Warren was like his brother in many ways that he admired. To Andrew this would be fun.

However, the Trio was thwarted time and time again. It wasn't till Warren up'd the ante in frustration by trying to unleash the First Evil and open the Hellmouth beneath Sunnydale like so many others. Warren would not be humiliated again, unbeknownst to Jonathan and Andrew, he had a gun to end the Slayer's life. As fate would have it, an innocent bystander, Tara was killed instead. This enraged Willow, who in her own right was a powerful witch, went complete Dark and was hellbent on revenge. Warren, Jonathan, and Andrew were her targets. Warren was killed, but Buffy and the others did their best to contain Willow and free her the blood rage. Andrew and Jonathan escaped to Mexico.

While in Mexico, the First Evil, manipulated Andrew and convinced him to finish what they started. It is truly unclear as to why, Andrew killed Jonathan and opened the Hellmouth enough. Buffy and crew managed to contain it as best as possible, but the damage was done. Over the next year Andrew was held hostage, but later "reformed" and became an ally to the Slayer. He was joined the order of the Watchers and helped trained new Slayers. Over the years his knowledge has increased making him a young expert on the subject of demons.

Andrew as a spellcaster is extremely knowledgeable. At a young age he mastered several ancient demonic language, and was skilled enough to summon forth and control demons. This was most likely due to his brother and his interest into fantasy and science fiction. Not only was he well versed in magic, but was a skilled in science... managing to bring back an extinct species of demons through his understanding DNA and Biology. Like wise he was well versed enough to follow and improve upon Warren's design of replicants.
Not only skilled with Sorcery and Science, he has a vast knowledge of science fiction and fantasy lore.
He plays Dungeons and Dragons, watches Doctor Who, knows Star Wars and Star Trek, Babylon 5, red Dwarf, the X-files, Marvel and DC Comics, Spy and Horror Movies, and a bit of Anime thrown in too!
He also is very caring and tenderhearted, a side which often clashes with his bravado.

Representation from the "The Seventh Seal"
Name: Nuitari
World: Krynn aka "Dragonlance Campaign Setting"
Pantheon: Pantheon of the Gods of Evil
Spells: Unknown.
Magical Items: Nuitari's Shroud, Staff of Nuitari. Tome of Nuitari.

Nuitari is the god of magic, specifically regarding the use for personal power. In the aftermath of the All-Saints War, it was decided as part of the peace accord that that each would have an influence over magic. The gods good and neutrality ushered in their children, while Sargonnas and Takhisis spawned Nuitari whom they fought over. According to the myth, Takhisis forced Sargonnas to bear the birth of Nuitari gestation in a great golden egg. When the time came for it birth, Takhisis came and fought Sargonnas for control. In the end, the young deity was almost destroyed. In his true form he is pale, his voice horse from the struggle of his parents, and body almost worse from neglect. Never the lease, Takhisis still saw his use. Also during this time, the Greygem was created with the essence of Ionthus. Who in eons would unleash magic into the world.

He was appointed to oversee magic, and its use for the application for evil. He was partnered with the other gods of magic, whom he quickly grew close to. His cousins, Solinari is the champion for the gods of god and Lunitari is the champion for the gods of neutrality. They soon decided that magic should be above the petty squabbles of the gods as they sought to abuse and control it. They formed a pact with each other to all remain true magic itself. However, several things on Krynn threatened this balance. The Greygem was released from it's location and soon spread uncontrolled magic throughout the world. The second were the Dragon Wars which threatened the world itself. Seeing that the gods and their followers abused magic, in addition to threat of sorcery, they instructed their followers to enact a ritual that would create the moons of Krynn sometime at the end of the First Dragon War. The moons themselves allowed the gods greater control over the influence of magic and they began to spread the ways of wizardry among the people.
He does his best to make sure the gods of evil do not abuse magic, but Sargonnas and Takhisis at times have forced Nuitari to agree to their terms and have even held the gods hostage at time.

Nuitari took the dark moon, the smallest and closest to Krynn. The moon itself is ebon in color and revolves around Krynn every 8 days. It can only be seen by those with evil hearts or those who draw upon magic. On the moon, Nuitari has a private tower which he watches Krynn from. The moon both exists in the prime material plane and the ethereal plane. Few expeditions have been attempted, but it is a a harsh place that is seeming devoid of animal life. The rock here is dark, and the few plants here are dark green mosses and sparse dark green trees. The few inhabitants on the physical moon are usually stranded there, and what life forms thought to have been observed are ooze like creatures. Nuitari's domain on the ethereal landscape is dominated by the tower which is rarely seen.

World: Ooo formerly Earth "Adventure Time with Finn and Jake"
Spells: Unknown.
Magical Items: Ice Crown, Demonic Wishing Ring, Ghost Pouch, and the tome "Ninjas of the Ice: The Art of Fridjitzu.

The Ice King was once a mortal long ago before the Mushroom War. His name was Simon Petrikov, an antiquarian and professor of archeology living in San Francisco, California. One of his claims to fame was the discovery of an ancient book known as the Enchiridion during his time in Greece. A few years before the Mushroom war he came into possession of the Ice Crown in Scandinavia, which ironically is relative to the Enchiridion. Sadly though the power of the crown can cause mental instability and other physical changes. In an attempt to make his girlfriend, Betty, laugh at the time by putting the crown on. Over a period time and repeated uses of the crown it changed him radically, his skin turned blue and cold, nose grew pointed, and began growing a beard. He accidentally froze portions of his home town solid. It was during this time that the Mushroom War occurred, and through the powers of the crown it allowed him to survive for centuries.

Over the next thousand years he built his Ice Kingdom, explored what was left of Earth which was now called Ooo by the new inhabitants, and recovered some artifacts as his own while mastering "Wizard Stuff". One of his early companion for the first few centuries was the vampire Marceline. During this time he had a rather odd fixation with Princess, as ever few years or so he craved love and romance. Sadly almost all of the princesses rejected him. Seem the only true friend he could make were the Penguins.

It was believed it was during one of these spouts of romance that he created Ricardio, is the Ice King's heart. Ricardio when bought to life left the Ice King, as he considers him a loser and a wimp. Eventually the Ice King does subdue him, as he needs his heart to live, but Ricardio escapes every once in awhile. Unlike the Ice King who is more of a nuisance than a villain, Ricardio seems to be the essence of ruthlessness and unbridled passions.

Beside being a Wizard with access to arcane knowledge, he is still guided by the Ice Crown which is the source of his powers. He is also a pretty cool drum player and is found of video games. Besides bring Ricardio to life, he also accidentally brought a pranking robot that Finn created. NEPTR considers the Ice King one his "papi" and his the ability to throw hot delicious pies (he is built from a toaster oven, soup can, lose wiring, and other spare parts). He latest creation was his fanfiction "Fionna and cake" which he hoped to bring to life. However he did not quite understand the powers of the Ancient Sleep Magi of Life Giving, which only bought inanimate objects to life.

In his Fanfiction he stylized himself as the Ice Queen.

Famous Spellcasters: Fistandantilus

Name: Fistandantilus
World: Krynn aka "Dragonlance"
Spells: Portal.
Magical Items: Bloodstone of Fistandantilus.

Fistandantilus is one of the oldest wizard of Krynn. No one knows exactly when he was born, but it is recorded that he passed the Test of High Sorcery when only the Tower of Wayreth existed. He took the robes of a red wizard and pursued magic with a passion. To him magic was his only companion he needed.Sadly he realized that no matter how much power he would gain he would eventually die. He asked for Gilean for assistance, but the god relayed that all things must die.Anger with that response he turned to the Dark Queen. She provided him with Bloodstone, an artifact that allowed him to extend his life while condemning those souls to the Dark Queen.

For the next couple of years he was one of the the most trusted wizards of the Conclave. He traveled and made arrangements with local lords of the benefits of constructing the Towers of High Sorcery. As his power an influence grew he even managed to persuade the Conclave to allow him to take Zhaman Fortress of Malock. He even joined Vinas Solamnus for a time to aid the Emperor of Ergoth for his own reasons. It was sometime after this he was appointed as the Master of the Tower of High Sorcery of Palanthus. With the rise of Istar, the Conclave became concerned with their power and asked Fistandantilus to monitor the situation. He managed to cement himself within the Istarian court and began to manipulate events to his advantage. He orchestrated the "Lost Battles" as magic became outlawed, keeping the Kingpriest under his influence. Ultimately it was his goal to secure magical artifacts from the towers and "heretic" gods, bringing him the "Abyssal Portal" in which he planned to challenge the Queen of Darkness for power. Knowing full well what would come with the Cataclysm, he save one true priest and journeyed forward in time where he could utilize the Portal. However a mishap in his calculations caused an explosion at Zhaman Keep which killed him.

His spirit though lingered on within the Towers of High Sorcery. His phantom would approach potential candidates who would take there test, and managed to persuade a few. Those that denied him often did not survive the test. It wasn't until centuries later that he found his ideal host, Raistlin Majere. Raistlin was a chosen champion of Lunitari who made a bargain with the spirit during the test. The spirit mentored Raistlin with secrets that he needed to accomplish his task of thwarting the Dark Queens return. They both even managed to defeat one of his own phantoms in Zhaman Keep. However in the end, he decided to betray Raistlin at the last moment beneath the Temple of Istar when she made her return. Both he and Raistlin struggled in a battle attempting to absorb each other with the Bloodstone. Raistlin managed to help drive back the Dark Queen with his companions. With the knowledge of Fistandantilus, Raistlin completed a prophecy which made him the Master of the Past of the Present by taking control of the Tower of Palanthus.

Although he had been destroyed in the Future, he never imagined that Raistlin would travel back and time and become his apprentice. Raistlin again challenged Fistandantilus, and assumed his role in history as the Black Wizard had. Raistlin had affected the timeline, thus diverging much of Fistandantilus plans and creating several temporal paradoxes. Despite this, his spirit still endured in a variety of ways. Eventually one his plans finally came to fruition when a red robe wizard discovered one of his trapped spellbooks. He now bides his time in the body of Eltam whose whereabouts are unknown.

He has had several residences such as Castle, a hidden lair known as Ulgaard in Garnet, Zhaman Keep, and was once the Master of the Tower of High Sorcery in Palanthus. He also had personal apartments within Istar and the Tower of High Sorcery of Wayreth. Some of his last known apprentices (whom he did not absorb) were Andras, Whastryk Kite,  Akar, and Raistlin Majere. He was even contacted once by both Mordenkainen of Oerth and Elminster of Abeir-Toril, but refused to here them out.

In addition he created several contingency item that would ensure his life would endure in the form of a Spellbook, his own Skull, a Silver Belt Buckle, the Bloodstone, and Mirror. These items would possess the owner, allowing Fistandantilus to live once more. A Mirror was created that hosted his spirit and it was lost somewhere in Qualnesti. Gantor Blacksword was one of the first ones to succumb to his Bloodstone, it drove him made until another component of his soul came forth. This was Kelryn Darewind, who was corrupted by the silver belt buckle that Whastryk Kite had a hand in creating. Kelryn killed Gantor and fled back to Haven were he founded a cult based upon Fistandantilus. A kender, Emilio Haversack, came across the Skull when he was in Zhaman Keep...which soon possessed him as well. Soon these three items came into conflict, where several phantoms of the Archmage came into being and fought amongst themselves. Years later a Red Wizard named Eltam discovered a spellbook which possessed him as well.
