The group had decided quickly at what to do. They couldn't go back exactly as there probably were swarms of maintenance droids and who else checking out the extensive damage inadvertently caused by them. What was worse it was found out that Ana had been replying to e-mail about about a possible Jedi sympathizer spotted an hour ago on level 702, and she confirmed that they had made contact with not only her but also with the wanted sympathizer Padawan Aryn. Manager Ty Rhees office was now co-coordinating an Official Bounty if both individual were not bought in by Ana and Tizzit or the Gobber Gang. Ana had simply being corresponding and taking care of the minor tasks directed at them, after all they all signed up for he "Salvage Operation". Tizzit would have a serious discussion with Ana at some point, but right now they had to find a way out. Talia was very confident that all of them would be able to take them on. R-90 opened the doors and they began to defend themselves. Khorrahg'ga let out a fierce Wookie battle cry that intimidated many of the Gobbers, Tizzit began fire with the other joining in. Talia readied her lightsaber and went in for the attack. Her honed skill were no match for the Gobbers and almost a dozen of them fell to her relentless attacks. The gobbers lost so many of their number within seconds, and a small concussive grenade made short work of things. There was only one left.....and in an instant he was gone as they shot him down. They were after Talia, and know they new of Padawan Aryn as well. They pilled the bodies together in a funeral pyre, with Sam atop. Nox took out a flask of some of Sam's highly volitile liquor and poured it on him and set him on fire. It didn't help that most of the gobbers uniforms were stained with oil and alcohol too, but soon the piled smolder and they started making their way to the hangar.
As they walked the alarms sounded, alert that this area needed to be "evacuated" as a fire was detected in Lower Level 2, Corridor C 47 Blue. Within moments a group of firefighter droid rushed on over to take care of the situation, ignoring the group. At this time Nox had contacted his captain and asked for him too meet up with him at the hanger. They needed to be "bailed" out of a situation again. The captain supposed that Sam had gotten into trouble again, that little Brodo Asogian was a great engineer....but horrible at gambling and drinking. The security monitors were recording everything from the hangar.
In a room deep with the Barbary Coast, Zhato Rem was kept apprised of the situation. He saw this group deal with over two dozen members of the Gobber Gang. He had Mr. Stalz run encryption and re-route the feeds from the cameras at the Hangar around Corridor C 47 Blue. No need for Ty Rhees to know about this as he had some new plans.
Within half an hour Nox contacted his captain, asking what the hold up was. Apparently the power outage on Level 2 and now fire had cause some problems in entering the lower level within the sector and all traffic for his size ship was being diverted or delayed. They would have to make there way to a hangar on level 716 were they could meet up. The only was was to go back to level 702 and make there way through Dollatree.
When they arrived at Dollatree and made their way through the red light district blending in as best as possible. Fortunately for them everyone was distracted by the news being shown. It appears that the cause for the power disruption and hydraulic issues was because of some attack by terrorist forces deep within Coruscant. There was footage being shown of a pile bodies that were smoldering, and the reports were unable to identify what species they were. Atop of it was a Brodo Asogian, ashen white and charred.
The droid footage captured the being stand up and yell out in pain, it's neck extending upwards, it eyes wide open, it put its hands up in the air, and waddle in horror and confusion. It slipped on the pile of bodie and caught fire again. The footage looped as "Sam" was running back and forth with his hands up in the air on fire, his neck swaying and shrieking until he finally hit the wall and was unconscious. Most of the people were shocked and could not look away. Some feed were already poking fun at the morbid, yet comical incident.
Distracted by Tizzit reaction to the footage being shown, several women that worked for Zhato Rem approached them easily.
His "Attaches" had kindly informed that the group was invited to the Barbary Coast, and that Mister Rem would like to see them. The other having an idea of what this meant headed over. R-90 though wished to go see Kenner for some personal upgrades. Aryan and Oshua would accompany them too.
R-90 had no trouble find Kenner's secret workshop. At first the door droid would not let him in as an unidentified organic was with him. Yet eventually they got the door open and pass the door droid. R-90 entered the familiar conveyor belt with Aryn in tow and arrived in Kenner's workshop. As before there were piles and piles of droid parts everywhere. Kenner was busy at work making repairs and working on his "Action Figures". R-90 quickly explained he was in trouble and needed to be transferred into a new vessel.
Kenner agreed to do it for all the credit R-90 had available, plus for some reason he felt influence to help with such a costly venture. R-90 was worried, but Aryn said he and Oshua would help out and make sure things went well. R-90's AI was put in a virtual reality simulator designed by Kenner's wife Ea. There R-90 lived his life as an avatar in a game based off the "Knights of the Old Republic" Oshua revealed to Kenner that he was an Iron Knight, and order that originated from the Jedi her on Coruscant but were outcasts. Decades ago Master Aqinos had discovered that non-organic crystalline shards were sentient lifeforms on the planet of Orax. He further found out that they were force sensitive creatures, and helped them interact with the world by placing them with droids. He even taught them how to master the force. When he was bought his discover to the Jedi Council, they were shocked an outrage as they found out that he was basically teaching "droids" how to use the force and that was dangerous. Master Aqinos again tried to explain that the force dwelt within all life, and the universe itself has a few surprises for us as we determine what is and what isn't a sentient lifeform. Needless to say he was cast out. Master Oshua was sent to keep tabs on the Jedi Order for Master Aqinos, after all how would suspect a "Khyber" crystal in the vaults?
Kenner, like Master Aqinos believed that droids were a sentient life form, and he was a A.I. sympathizer.
Many of the droids who socialized seemed to develop their own personalities, even among the simple labor droids you could see preferences developing. Oshua also needed a body for mobility so he helped Kenner give R-90 a new body, as well as construct one for himself using the force. Oshua's expertise in droids, and with Kenner and Aryn to assist they would be done in no time.
Meanwhile the rest of the group met up with Zhato Rem in his secret room. There he told them that he has had need of them and they it would be in their best interest to help. He began playing footage of R-90 killing spree with Sam, he played footage of the Gobber chasing Talia, and more footage of the incident in the corridor. When thing got tense as Nox attempted to negotiate, Wrabbler attempted to use the force to persuade Zhato. However, that only allowed Zhato a clear path for him to show Wrabbler worst fear. Whoever Zhato was he was a powerful force user, one who knew were the wind was blowing. His secret room kept him hidden for only so long, and someone was hunting the Jedi. His spies had told him a few things, and however was hunting the Jedi....even for a moment if he was discovered.....he knew they would view everything he built...and who he was a potential and deadly threat. He needed to get of Coruscant....just like the Padawans here. Still trying negotiate, Zhato played his trump card and bought out Captain Skarpithio. Nox's captain knew who Zhato was and had dealt with him before. His crew had no idea that they had sometime worked for the "Black Sun". Zhato seemed to clearly have them in his grasp.
