Star Wars Adventure Path: Holonet News 02

BREAKING NEWS

This is reporter Lyla Fontane on the scene at the latest "mishap" at the Robo-Arena at the Barbary Coast. A strange series of accidental mishaps have occurred during the past few weeks ranging from malfunctioning driods to some deaths of the local "Amateur Battle Droid Enthusiast". My sources tell me that one of these "mishaps" have just occurred hours ago during a semi-final match between Hogan H-257 and Piper RR-863, leaving two of the operators dead in the holding area, as well as the destruction of their droids.

These holding areas are sound proof and blast proof, ensuring that patrons would be unharmed if their was any technical malfunctions or faulty weapons discharge. The local establishment also ensure that no monitoring is progress as not to give the competitors any edge, it is the old adage of "What happens in the locker room ,stays in the locker room". One that I can personally attest to covering many such sports events, ah ha ha ha....

Fortunately, my sources indicate that an unknown individual and their droid entered one of the holding area. When Hogan H-257 and his operator entered into the arena, that is when the trouble began. We have identified the two operators that were killed were two humans, Lewis Tanbroshea and Clark Roxzanrul, both shot in the head. Lewis was found dead by the door to the arena. Clark was curled up in a ball and shot in the head. It seems that their two droids responded to Lewis death and attempted to restrain the unknown assailant, but the were not effective. An eyewitness has provided this crude image of the assailant, which seems to be some sort of customized droid of unknown origin and make. If you have spotted this droid, it is consider armed and dangerous. Please press the icon if you spot it, and if you would like to keep up to date on the latest news, press the icon for more information.
We still are yet to identify the second assailant as official are requesting to view the casino's security cameras. There has been some reports that both the droid and assailants were seen making their war to the maintenance areas of the casinos. As I am not one to spread rumors, could this be a plot of one of the rivals gangs to discredit Zhato Rem or challenge his hold in this sector? I Lyla Fontane will being interviewing Zhato Rem, approaching him for comment within the hours to have his take on this tragedy and what he may thinks as to the rumors that someone is out to discredit him.

Bantha Burgers and Blue Milk Buns

What sets these burgers apart from every other on the galaxy is their distinctive blue milk bun, made with organic, locally-farmed bantha milk. The egg wash and warm oven give the buns a toasty mottled look.
These Bantha Burger Blue Milk Buns are perfect to serve up a good meal to friends.

Bantha Burger Blue Milk Buns

Ingredients:
1 cup, plus one tablespoon milk, warmed (110 to 115 degrees)
Blue food gel dye
1 (.25 ounce) package yeast
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 egg plus 1 teaspoon water for egg wash

Instructions:
In a heat-safe measuring cup, bring the milk up to temperature in the microwave (110 to 115 degrees is ideal), add the blue food gel dye to color, then the yeast, stirring until bubbly.

In the bowl of an electric mixer stir together the flour, sugar, and salt. Use the dough hook to add the egg, butter, and slowly add the yeast mixture just until the dough comes together.

Prep baking sheets with silpats or parchment.

Flour a surface and turn out the dough. Knead a few times then divide into 10 equal balls.

Place 5 to a sheet onto the prepped baking sheets, place in a warm space and let rise for approximately one hour.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Brush the tops of the buns with the egg wash and bake for 12-14 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.

Bantha Burger Patties
As for the rest make sure that you use plain ground bantha meat, you want that salt-of-the-earth flavor only bantha can have. Of course if you prefer nerf meat you can do that as well. Just heat up the patties as you prefer, well done to medium rare. Assemble your burger with all of your favorite fixings.
