He is the master Archmage of the Flanaess, and one of Oerth's most powerful wizards. He has lived quite along time, and has time and time again defended Oerth from magical hazards both from within and without. His home is the Obsidian Citadel, and impenetrable fortress hidden the mountains and the border ethereal. His known apprentices are Bigby and Rautheene, but also has a fair number of notable henchman at his service. He also as a fair share of friends and allies, both mortal and divine. He has also traveled to otherworld and have made acquaintances of Elminster of Toril, Fistandantilus and Dalamar of Krynn, and Ed Greenwood of Earth to name a few.
